The Running Birds were formed ten years ago in Ventimiglia, a small Italian town on the French border, before basing themselves in France to launch their musical career. Today, they are one of the biggest live acts along the French Riviera and Monaco, where their tireless energy both astonishes and attracts new fans to their already substantial following.
A spectacular live band with tight musical arrangements, they can adapt their show to any stage, having toured widely across Europe Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Spain, the UK, France and Italy. With a repertoire comprising more than 130 covers and 35 own originals, and with a newly produced 8 tracks album, ”About Freedom”, The Running Birds are now ready to conquer a wider international public.
The Running Birds have many achievements under their belt. They have held a special charity concert in Italy with Ian Paice Deep Purple drummer , performed at the famous annual Jazz Festival in Nice France and won a national competition to be the opening act at the “Therapy?” concert in Nice France in summer 2006. They have also featured on local TV and radio stations and in many local papers and magazines.
Composed of 4 distinct personalities, The Running Birds are nevertheless a solid outfit.
